Harmonizer Art, Updates, and More!
Welcome back to another week of updates! Unfortunately, the Estria focused piece I promised is not yet done, mostly due to some other things that cropped up that required attention. Let’s go ahead and cover some updates, some art, and a new venture in Youtube!
Book Updates
Starting things off, let’s talk briefly about stampede. It’s still in progress and is making good time. I expect it to be done by around August 31st, so expect it’s release sometime shortly after so long as things don’t suddenly become out of my hands. More on that later…
The Sapphire Verdict is NOT dead despite what people may think. Editing on the final manuscript is being wrapped up as we speak, and then it’s on to figuring out how it needs to be sent out. Do I do traditional publishing or skip it and go the self-published route? Time will tell, and it will tell very, very soon!
Harmonizer: The Lonely Fortress is STILL stuck! I am not sure if my artist has gotten the deadline wrong or just doesn’t care. I feel like it’s one of the two. Either way, this book is ready to go at a moment’s notice, but is not going anywhere until I can get cover art of some kind out. As soon as I have that art, the Lonely Fortress will go live as both an Ebook and a paperback!
Art Updates
I’ll keep this brief since we touched upon this last week. Below, you can see a more updated view of the Mahabata piece! It only has a small amount left to be completed, and then it has to be animated, so I expect it to be done within a few hours of work maybe? Once it’s done, I will be moving on to the SECOND Mahabata piece which will involve a LOT of animated components. Not sure if I’ll be able to do them correctly, but we’re going to find out!
Additionally, art has begun on a couple of other side projects. One of these is something I’m not ready to talk about, but the other is related to a new umbrella I’m creating! To keep all my art stuff together and make things more professional, my art stuff will be getting a brand of ‘Flying Fennec Arts!’ No, this is not to be confused with ‘Flying Fennec Farts.’ That’s separate. Anyway, this new umbrella will cover all my art related activities, and I’m hoping to get a logo done this weekend! Also, it might get animated!
Youtube
Youtube is finally happening! The first big video is done, and then it’ll be a bit of a snowball from there. I don’t know yet all the content that will make it onto the channel, but a large chunk of it will be art focused stuff, so expect to see my environment art and other animated stuff show up over there. What’s the link, you ask? I… don’t know yet. I haven’t decided whether I should call it something Harmonizer related or go all in on the Fennec thing. Time will tell on this as well!
Conclusion
Yes, I am ending this VERY early compared to usual. Long story short, I don’t have much to update on at the moment and I don’t believe in writing for the sake of writing. As such, I will conclude this blog here and we can meet again next week! Until then… Cheers!
