The Sapphire Eye

Population

Automatons

Forming almost the entirety of the Sapphire Eye, automatons are sentient machines crafted by the Krysheek people. They can come in many shapes and sizes, but are mostly bipedal and without any significant facial features. In order to function, automatons only need 2 things, a constant supply of power, and a purpose. Each automaton has to have a reason for existing, and so long as they have a purpose they can commit to with one hundred percent of their being, they are perfectly content with whatever life throws at them. Additionally, they have an intense loyalty to those they see as their creators, meaning they are fully loyal to Sapphiria and the empire.

For the most part, the automatons do not have major aspirations outside of whatever they deem their purpose to be. Within the empire, most automatons choose to serve as legionnaires due to what they see through Atom’s memories, but there are plenty that choose other roles for themselves. Automatons can be found in every role imaginable including, but not limited to, cooking, garment crafting, gardening, wildlife preservation, and research. By Sapphiria’s decree, all automatons are able to choose what capacity they serve in, meaning the automatons that choose to fight do so of their own volition.

Automatons, typically, are gentler, morally good souls. They seek to cultivate life and assist others however they can, though there are a few among them that differ from this trend. Additionally, their moral compass can be heavily impacted by the opinions of their creators, meaning that, overall, the Sapphire Eye seeks to do good. Their goal is to protect innocent lives however they can, and every automaton is committed to assisting and protecting the less developed civilizations sheltered under the wings of their empire.

Hobbies are a rarity for automatons to pickup, but have been documented on numerous occasions. Often times these hobbies will manifest themselves as a new purpose for the automaton to pursue, such as gardening, but can be something simpler. Within the empire is a well-known card game, for instance, that some automatons will engage in while waiting for new orders on the frontlines. Historically, automatons have had a near impossible time relaxing or making time for things that aren’t necessarily productive, but this is a behavioral trend that Sapphiria is slowly working out of them one day at a time.

Krysheek

Though mostly extinct, there is still one Krysheek soul left within the empire, and she presides over its entirety. The Krysheek were a bipedal race of fox-like creatures inhabiting a planet dubbed Kryshendar. The Krysheek people were a relatively underdeveloped species, effectively trapped in a feudal era due to technophobia spurred by the Clockwork Crisis. In terms of appearance, the Krysheek could come in any color imaginable, had either two or three large, fluffy tails, and short perky ears. There is seemingly no rhyme or reason behind their coloring, such as an orange father and green mother having a golden or violet child, or their powers.

Regardless of appearance or walk of life, all Krysheek had what they referred to as powers. They could wield primal elements such as fire or wind as well as more mystical elements like telekinetics. Every Krysheek had at least one of these abilities, and the exceptionally rare one could even wield two, but their power levels were all over the place. Most of the Krysheek had fairly weak powers, but there were some among them capable of splitting entire continents in twain, an exclusive club that Sapphiria herself belonged to.

Overall, Krysheek society was a culture heavily rooted in tradition. Following the Crisis, sets of rules and standards were established to guide the Krysheek forward in order to prevent another Crisis from occurring. Chief among these were beings called Archons, a set of five figureheads that watched over all corners of the world in order to ensure peace among its citizens. Additionally, acceptable colors were firmly established to ensure that no one would be left out, though no one ever anticipated that the color blue would ever make an appearance. All Krysheek answered to an emperor, and their world was entirely unified under one banner, meaning that their lives were peaceful and calm.

In terms of how society was ran, the Krysheek were mostly mercantile. They had a major focus on trade and the bartering of goods, mostly for survival, and were quite worldly. There were markets in every corner of the globe and major cultural centers in the form of Orden, Nuvar, and Adecial. At the end of their existence, the Krysheek people had begun to embrace technology once again to move forward as a race, but this was brought to an end when their world was destroyed. While Sapphiria is the only remaining Krysheek left in known existence, she holds all of their values close to heart and acts on behalf of their memories to ensure that their deaths will never be in vain.

Living Conditions

Given the advanced nature of the Sapphire Eye, it makes sense that the lives of its citizens are of supreme quality. Every automaton within the empire has access to all they could want, and anything they ask for can typically be developed should it not yet exist. Thanks to Sapphiria’s endless generators, power is not a problem for any of her automatons, meaning none of them have to worry about shutting down. Additionally, thanks to the availability of a material called machinium, the automatons are exceptionally durable, meaning that life is pretty safe for them. Even bullets and rockets are of little concern to them, so living in any environment is about as easy as it could be.

For most automatons, life exists in whatever environment they work in. Those in the legions typically live aboard Orca supercarriers, or whatever ship they happen to be assigned to. Their living quarters are typically fairly simplistic and minimalist in design and decorations as most automatons have no need for such spaces. Should they need a rest, they will simply power down standing up, though most automatons have no need to do so and simply stay active around the clock.

This doesn’t mean they don’t have things to work for, of course. Given that automatons have no interest in living space, Sapphiria specifically went out of her way to design a system to reward automatons and give them achievements to strive for in the form of appearance enhancements and customization. Those who have served the longest are the most recognizable with facial attachments and armor modifications to make themselves unique. Additionally, there are other awards that automatons can strive for with rewards quite different from the norm, such as premium access to special, remote locations or even rare cards.

While most automatons are fine without living spaces, and actually prefer it that way, there are some that have deviated from this norm. From the surface, automaton worlds look like they are barren of any hint of civilization, but that is because automaton structures are built below ground. At Sapphiria’s behest, all structures were built underground to preserve any wildlife or nature above ground, mostly due to her trauma, and her automatons were happy to oblige. Entire cities have been constructed beneath the surfaces of their worlds, much like cities one would find in the UEC. These cities are carved into massive caverns with towering structures reaching from the floor all the way into the ceiling. There are highways, roads, streets full of shops and building of every shape and size, and much more. Automatons living in these cities will often times have small apartment spaces to call their own, and most often will be found away from these spaces interacting with the different shops. Because of this, these cities ALWAYS seem active and bustling to a degree that would make even the largest UEC city jealous.

While almost all structures are below ground, it is worth mentioning that there are some that break this trend. There are a few, isolated structures built above ground, though these are almost always functional in design. These often manifest as listening posts or small outposts meant to support ranger activity. These compounds will typically be small, open, and well armed, and can be encountered on a variety of planets with the largest concentration being on those that have life of some sort. However, there is a unique classification of structure that deviates from this in the form of a Constellation Citadel. Citadels are palatial fortresses the size of cities meant to withstand even the most brutal of assaults. While most are typically found on the ground, there are a few that have been anchored within the clouds of gas giants, supporting thousands upon thousands of automatons working to keep the borders of the empire fully secure!

Though few automatons call it home, the palace is also a unique structure and fills a niche roll within the empire. Positioned on the Throneworld, the palace is a massive structure built into the side of a mountain. The empress herself calls this structure home, and it is the center of most imperial activity. All major command posts and high-ranking officers operate from this facility, and there are even rumors of extremely classified activity occurring within the bowels of the structure. For all automatons, this structure is the true heart of their empire, and they would all readily give their lives to ensure the safety of both it and their empress.

Leadership

Sapphiria

As their name implies, the Sapphire Eye is ruled by an empress, Sapphiria. Sapphiria was the original creator of the Sapphire Eye and the genius behind every single automaton that has come into being. After losing her homeworld to the fires of the UEC, she took the parting words of her mentor and used all the ingenuity she had to steal the UEC’s designs in order to build a home for what few automatons she had managed to save. Despite her reservations, her automatons willingly elected her as their empress, and now she swears to do all she can to better their lives and give them a future worth living for.

For all automatons in the empire, they see Sapphiria as a figure of reverence. They adore her for all the sacrifices she has made for them, and have all sworn to uphold her verdict and do all they can to support her no matter what. Despite this title and sense of reverence, Sapphiria does her best to treat all of her automatons like close friends, and adamantly refuses to use her title for leverage in any scenario with them. It can be a weird thing for some automatons to get used to whenever they get transferred to one of her divisions, but it only makes them respect her all the more.

Atom

Standing as Sapphiria’s right hand, Atom is the Sapphire Eye itself. He was crafted long ago by Sapphiria on her world to serve as her best friend and managed to survive the flames alongside her. After escaping the UEC, he vowed to do all he could to support her, which meant using his newfound intellect to help the Sapphire Eye become what Sapphiria hoped it could be. Though Atom is still, at his core, the same goofy bird he has always been, his being has been massively enhanced to that of borderline omnipotence. Sapphiria has carefully managed to augment his cerebral functions and enhance him beyond that of any automaton, meaning he can process thousands upon thousands of events simultaneously. With this ability, he tends to micromanage many parts of the empire and has had at least some form of interaction with almost every single automaton in the empire. Additionally, he is a master of computer systems, meaning that all he needs is a slight opening to bring down the entirety of a UEC software grid. Despite all this power, at the end of the day, he sees himself as what he has always been, Sapphiria’s best friend.

Vargoth

Whereas Atom is Sapphiria’s goofy and friendly right hand, Vargoth stands as her unrelenting and brutal left hand. Vargoth is an automaton incredibly gifted in all aspects of war and has an uncharacteristically aggressive demeanor few automatons display. After proving his skills in battle beyond any reasonable doubt, he was unilaterally appointed as the supreme general of Sapphiria’s legions and has sworn to serve her every command until the day his core finally shuts off. This unrelenting attitude makes him an incredible force to be reckoned with, both tactically and directly on the battlefield. While he doesn’t quite know why he is so gifted in the art of warfare, it isn’t a question that he ponders. All he cares about is serving Sapphiria to his fullest ability, and he will not hesitate to crush anyone that gets in the way of her vision.

Nasic

Completely contrasting Vargoth’s personality, Nasic is someone who doesn’t exist. According to all records, there is no one like him in all of existence, and that is the way that Sapphiria wanted it. Nasic is a type of enhanced viper crafted by Sapphiria herself to serve as her hidden dagger. With his incredible cloaking technology and skills as an assassin, he is a lethal force that gladly eliminates whatever targets that she deems necessary, and his record is near spotless. He stands as one of the highest ranking automatons in the entire empire and only answers to Sapphiria herself, but such rank doesn’t really faze him. Despite his title and abilities, he is, for lack of a better term, incredibly whimsical. He is a carefree automaton that doesn’t seem to take his duties seriously, always willing to joke off and goof around even when out on a hunt, but his friendly appearance belies his true lethality, and when he knows that a kill isn’t guaranteed, he focuses with the lethal intent of his namesake…

Taldarius

Serving alongside Vargoth on most days, Taldarius is the supreme admiral of Sapphiria’s fleets. He was one of the first automatons crafted after the Sapphire Eye escaped the clutches of the UEC and displayed an incredible affinity for starships. His fascination with them led him to learn all he could, ultimately turning him into an elite tactician in terms of space combat and earning himself the right to serve as Sapphiria’s supreme admiral. Taldarius typically works in tandem with Vargoth in strategies involving the fleets, but ultimately answers to Vargoth when push come to shove. Despite answering to such an unrelenting force, Taldarius himself is considerably more understanding, but that doesn’t mean even in the slightest that he is any less efficient. When it comes to fleet combat, there are few that can best him, and there are even rumors that he might have the skills necessary to best Grand Admiral Keller himself.

Sects

Though most automatons choose to serve in the legions, there are numerous groups of automatons within the empire that serve dramatically different functions. This means they don’t just serve different jobs, but usually have fundamentally different personalities and goals in life. While there are possibly hundreds of these various subgroups, the most populous ones are as follows:

Legionnaires

The most populated group in the entirety of the empire by a margin so large that it can’t be quantified, the imperial legions compromise the entirety of Sapphiria’s military, both the fleet and her ground legions. Automatons that choose to serve in the legions typically do so because of all they have seen through Atom’s eyes and wish to stop the UEC from committing more genocides. Legionnaires are typically incredibly loyal and quite adept at fighting, and are used to operating in all environments. These legionnaires can be encountered across every type of planet imaginable, and frequently mix in alongside all the other groups scattered around the empire. Of course, not all legionnaires are fighters. There are many who serve as engineers or maintenance aboard various ships, but the most notable outliers of all are the mighty titans and varanthids, both of which also count as legionnaires.

Thunderguard

Though often encountered within the legions, the Thunderguard are a completely separate sect of legionnaire. Thunderguards are an incredibly elite division of legionnaires that have set themselves apart for various reasons, typically acts of valor or incredibly fighting skills. These automatons can usually be identified by their slightly different build, usually being larger and more intimidating along with the presence of capes on each. Sporting the best equipment available, the Thunderguard operate directly under the command of Sapphiria herself, but often times receive directives through Vargoth, and they are incredibly effective at completing even the most dangerous of missions.

Scientists

Not quite a valorous as most automatons, scientists still perform an incredibly important task within the empire. They can be found within their research facilities working on the newest technological improvements and weaponry as they pus the boundary of what is possible. They are quite valuable in the eyes of all the higher ups, and have hundreds upon hundreds of instillations scattered across the Sapphire Eye worlds. These scientists are typically arranged into their own divisions where they worked towards a shared goal. The divisions with the most success are rewarded with better equipment, facilities, and access to experimental technology. Sometimes, this involves the chance to work alongside Sapphiria herself, and while few are aware of it, the largest research facility in the entirety of the empire is actually hidden beneath Sapphiria’s palace itself!

Vipers

Vipers are the elite assassins that few known about. Often made in small batches, the vipers are few in number, but are known for their devastating feats of sabotage. Vipers are incredibly different from most automatons due to their more reptilian appearance, and they are all capable of near perfect stealth, making them incredibly good at infiltrating the UEC’s backline and wreaking havoc in all sectors. As a whole, the vipers answer to Vargoth who uses them for precision strikes to expose vulnerabilities within the UEC military, but there are a few solitary groups that answer to Sapphiria and another that answers directly to Nasic.

Rangers

Though many automatons see them as obsolete, the Rangers are a group of automatons highly prized by Sapphiria. These automatons, as the name implies, are focused on wildlife conservation and the preservation of environments. When a large animal begins to cause trouble or a new biome needs to be inspected for potential conflicts with new development, the rangers are called in to handle. Rangers have outposts scattered all across various worlds and are typically small in number, preferring to operate in small groups with animal companions to support them. As such, Rangers are typically more solitary automatons, but are also more empathetic. However, do not mistake their gentle tones for weakness. They are quite skilled at fighting even the largest of predators and have been known to bring down monsters capable of besting even the titans.

Construction Block

A rather misunderstood group of automatons, the Construction Block is a sect that has been in operation since the earliest days of the Sapphire Eye. These automatons are tasked with overseeing the construction of new facilities and warships, and have interactions with every other group in existence. These automatons are typically task minded and very analytical, making them ab it tough for other automatons to interact with in what would be considered a normal way. Despite this, they are typically friendly, easy to get along with, and more than willing to jump in and help with any task that involves the construction of some new structure!

Reconstruction

With the Crisis at an end and a new world order established, the Krysheek began to pickup what remained of their lives. Cities were repaired, refugees were assisted with finding new homes, and peace began to settle in once again. However, the wounds of the Crisis ran deep, and not all could be forgotten so easily. Because of the role that technology played in the Crisis, a new stigma emerged against anything mechanical. Though it was not the fault of the automatons, the Krysheek began to distrust and even fear their automaton companions. Most automatons were effectively outcast from society and reduced to rolls that kept them away from population centers. Additionally, almost all information related to the schematics and designs of the Clockwork Armada were burned, leaving no trace of the engineering that powered such advanced designs, but it didn’t stop there.

Because of wounds suffered by the emperor himself, he decreed that technology would be banned for the foreseeable future, leading to a technophobic atmosphere that would linger for hundreds of years. The Krysheek lost access to the improvements that technology had allowed for so long, and they effectively rolled backwards as a civilization by several hundred years. Effectively, their species was locked in a bubble, time flowing around them but no development occurring in the slightest way. While the Archons had opinions of their own about this, there was little that they could do, not that they even wanted to. Their people had suffered enough, and they needed time to heal, though, none of them could imagine how long it would take.

A Thousand Year History

After the events of the Crisis, the Krysheek species entered an era of undisturbed peace. Hundreds upon hundreds of years passed without anything of note happening. There were no wars or major crises. Cities were built and rebuilt. Trade flourished and communication around the world slowly eased as their species continued to develop, albeit at a slower pace than before. This period lasted for roughly one thousand years, and if one chose any point during these years to visit, they would find mostly the exact same thing. A people trapped in a more feudalistic era going about their lives in peace. Roughly 900 years into this era, however, things began to change.

During the long years, technology had slowly begun to find its way back into the heart’s of the Krysheek. Automatons began to be constructed once again, but not quite in the same amount as before, and engineers started appearing all across the world. This leakage of technology back into society was exceptionally slow, and underdeveloped. All the knowledge the Krysheek had once possessed was gone, so they were struggling to learn everything again from scratch. However, the pace changed with the passing of the emperor and the rise of new leadership.

With the ascension of Dagan the First, technology was suddenly back at the forefront of the world. It was his belief that losing access to such wondrous technologies was the biggest mistake ever made by his forbearers, and it was his desire to see it reintegrated into society. He instated programs in the imperial academy to promote the development of engineering knowledge and sponsored dozens of workshops across the continent, leading to a sudden boom in technology. Old war machines that had been kept around in locked warehouses were suddenly dismantled and reverse engineered, leading to the rise of the scrapyards in Anshal. This boom of activity saw engineering become a much more common thing to encounter, and while it was still seen as taboo, it was much easier for a curious mind to access, and this is what ultimately paved the way for the Sapphire Eye to be born.

Sapphiria

Just shy of a thousand years following the Crisis, something miraculous occurred. To the complete shock of the entirety of the Krysheek, a shasheek was born in a color no one had ever been, blue. This young girl’s name was Sapphiria, and she represented an anomaly that had never been accounted for. She had a fur color never before seen, massive ears, and seven tails, making her an enigma to scholars and even the Council itself. Unfortunately, while her birth should have been seen as a miracle that opened up new doors for Krysheek development, it was instead seen as a curse. Because of tradition and the thousand years of relative ignorance, Sapphiria was effectively raised as an outcast.

Sapphiria grew up on the south side of the continent in effective isolation. Her family lived far out from any villages, and any time she tried to make friends, she was shunned. Her days mostly consisted of her hiding from people and spending time learning all she could. She was an adventurous spirit with a mind tuned for learning, and while no one wanted her to achieve much of anything, she still tried her hardest to make something of her young life. It wasn’t until a fateful journey with her father, however, that would shape her path forward.

Given her father’s vocation as a blacksmith, he was frequently in contact with engineers, and this is how Sapphiria was ultimately exposed to them. When she was brought along to a workshop for the first time, she was enthralled. The inventions were so incredible, but what really captured her heart were the automatons she met there. She was enraptured by their noble hearts and curiosity, and this simple, innocent interaction is what inspired her to begin pursuing an automaton of her own!

Years passed as she delved into the world of engineering, stealing manuals and parts from the workshop in secret and learning as much as she could in the secret corners of any library she could find. Additionally, during this time, she stumbled across a series of Aqua Farms ran by automatons, leading her to meet Trigon, an old, old clockwork automaton. While she didn’t trust him initially, the two of them became fast friends, and she ultimately began to see Trigon as the family she never truly had. He supported her however he could and always made time for her whenever she came around, and he even assisted her with teaching engineering when she ran into problems she couldn’t solve on her own. After many years, and through a gift from Trigon, Sapphiria was finally able to build her first automaton, Atom!

With Atom, she finally had the friend she had always wanted, but life wasn’t easy for her just yet. She was still an outcast, and was determined to find acceptance no matter how stacked against her the odds were. After many, many years, an opportunity finally presented itself when the Archon of Orden, Kaden, began to search for an apprentice. After a year and half of struggling, against all odds, she managed to become his candidate and finally ended her status as a freak, paving the way for her to finally jumpstart her engineering in a major way!

Engineering Revolution

As the apprentice, Sapphiria had access to the funds and knowledge that she had never even been able to dream of having! With the backing of the Council, she was able to finally bring all the inventions to life she had always dreamt of, an endeavor that was heavily supported by the emperor himself. She managed to construct a massive workshop and built a huge team of automatons to help her, and she slowly began to build to some of the more incredible ideas she had always had.

Among these ideas were two massive inventions that would change the course of history. Because of Sapphiria’s connection with Trigon, she had knowledge of many systems and technologies that had been lost to history, a story to discuss another time. This information is what gave her the idea for something she calls an Endless Generator. These generators would be massive improvements to all power sources they were aware of at the time. Using three power cores, the generator could create a sustainable charge that would be capable of increasing to match the load of whatever it was connected to. It wasn’t literally endless, but it effectively had the power of multiple nuclear reactors packed into a machine about the size of a basketball. This machine was a humongous leap forward, but it was another piece of technology that really blew the doors off what was believed to be possible.

Before Sapphiria ever existed, another engineer was able to create something called a synthesizer, a machine capable of replicating matter. However, the machine was effectively useless because of the ludicrous energy requirement to power it, leading to it being forgotten in a closet. With the endless generator, however, the synthesizer suddenly had a use. In Sapphiria’s hands, she was able to create a constant stream of resource for her engineering, and rapidly began to escalate her operations. She created more automatons, bigger and more powerful inventions, and truly began to position herself to revolutionize the way their world operated. All signs pointed to their society changing forever, but then tragedy struck.

The UEC

One day, without any warning or provocation, the Krysheek homeworld was attack and decimated by a UEC fleet under the command of James Stockton. Believing their planet to be valuable and seeing the existence of any alien species as a threat to his control of the UEC, he had marked the Krysheek for extermination, and he was merciless. As the planet was laid to waste, a desperate plan was hatched by Kaden, leading to Sapphiria, Atom, and a handful of her assistants surviving the destruction, but what awaited them on the other side was a hell they never could have dreamt of.

In the wake of the destruction, Sapphiria and her friends were captured by the UEC. For years, Stockton’s teams had struggled to create a subservient AI that they could use to supplant and control the population, but their efforts had ultimately ended in failure. Seeing Sapphiria’s automatons, however, enraged Stockton, and he was determined to replicate the technology for himself. Sapphiria was brought to his primary research facility in the city of Valstadt where Sapphiria, begrudgingly, agreed to construct automatons for him in exchange for the safety of her friends. However, she wasn’t stupid. She was aware that Stockton was planning to have her exterminated once she was no longer useful. She bided her time, slowly planting the seeds for his downfall before, finally, she was able to act! Using Stockton’s own arrogance against him, Sapphiria escaped captivity along with her friends and coerced Admiral Keller to lead a coup against Stockton, seeing his reign over the UEC come to a fiery end. Away from Stockton’s clutches, Sapphiria’s group was finally given the chance to process everything they had survived and grieve, but Kaden’s final words continued to ring in her mind…

What Remains of Our People

Before their world had fallen, Kaden had told her to lead what remained of her people once the bombs had stopped dropping. Although her people had been eradicated, her automatons remained, and she resolved herself to leading her automatons to a brighter future and giving them a life worth living as a true society! After landing on a verdant world not too different from the one she lost, Sapphiria began the long process of building a civilization. Utilizing a collection of cores pilfered from her planet by Stockton that she had stolen back from him, Sapphiria recreated her endless generator and synthesizer technology, allowing her small, ragtag group of automatons to begin building. Progress was slow at first, but, eventually, they were able to span the entire planet and launch themselves back into space as a true civilization!

This first launch ultimately jumpstarted their growth, allowing them to begin constructing their own starships and colonizing other worlds. The automatons began to rapidly swell in numbers, and steadily began to develop their own organizations. A legion formed, and a science division, and a team of rangers, and so many others. From a rusty freighter full of crystals to an entire empire, the Sapphire Eye grew, but they didn’t truly become an empire until it finally came time for them to decide how to govern themselves. At Sapphiria’s behest, the automaton leadership came together to vote on how they would organize themselves. Sapphiria left herself out of the meeting because she didn’t want to influence their development. It was her desire that her automatons build a life for themselves the way they wanted to, without her bias and past haunting them the whole way, but what she didn’t count on was the respect and loyalty she had garnered. To her extreme shock, her automatons voted to become an empire with her at their head. Though she was horrified and initially refused, she was finally convinced to accept the position after reflecting on all she had wanted to be as an Archon.

With Sapphiria anointed the empress, the Sapphire Eye bulldozed a path forward into the future. They rapidly grew in strength thanks to the technology they had stolen from the UEC and expanded rapidly across dozens upon dozens of worlds. Their numbers swelled, and their ranks were joined by some… colorful, individuals they hadn’t been expecting. As Sapphiria had wished, they had become a true empire, one capable of reshaping the galaxy, but path changed abruptly and without warning. Their intelligence network learned of another atrocity similar to what had befallen Sapphiria’s people, a fresh one committed under Keller’s eye. Enraged to a degree never before witnessed by anyone in her life, Sapphiria declared that the UEC’s time had come to an end and set her empire on the path to exterminating their species fully and completely, not just to avenge those they had slaughtered, but to protect anyone else from falling to the same fate. From this point, the Sapphire Eye began to grow its legions, steadily rising to meet the UEC head on in what will prove to be one of the most pivotal decisions that will affect life in every corner of the galaxy…
