Weekly Progress Update!
I’m back once again with another blog update! I actually managed to do it two weeks in a row again! Life slowly returns to normal! Anywho, this week, we’ve got a round of minor updates on a few projects and a promise of what will be coming next week! Let’s hop into it!
Harmonizer
To start things off, Harmonizer: The Lonely Fortress is officially locked in with a cover artist! That means that the cover for the next book will look like someone actually tried instead of what I was able to do by myself! This is a huge upgrade and I think the end result will be spectacular, so stay tuned for that!
Additionally, work has begun on the new map that will be getting added to the website, but I’m not quite ready to show anything off for that. I’m in the process of making somewhere around one hundred and thirty mountains… I’m not kidding. Progress pics should be ready for the blog post after the one that follows this one!
The Sapphire Verdict
In other news of minor updates, the Sapphire Verdict refactor is nearing completion. The new chapters have been created, and I’m now working to cut and edit the rest of the chapters to fit with the new changes. This process will take a few more weeks, and then we can finally come face to face with the idea of either getting it published traditionally or saying screw it and go the Harmonizer route. Time will tell!
Conclusion
Yes, that’s it! Why? Because I’m not going to write a lot just for the sake of writing a lot when I’m already extremely burnt out on writing so much.
HOWEVER! There is a promise here of what will be coming next week! Instead of a usual update week, we will be hosting a piece on Vianna! This will cover her character, motivations, and some of the stuff coming up for her in the Lonely Fortress! My hope is that this piece will help break people into the character, and I hope to do two more on Feera and Garrin before the Lonely Fortress drops sometime at the end of May. So stay tuned for that next week, but, for now, that’s all I got. So, as per usual… cheers!
