STAMPEDE!

Wow, I did NOT realize how long it had been since the last blog post! I didn’t mean for it to go that long, so that’s a major ‘my bad!’ Anyway, we’re back now and we’ve got some news on pretty much all fronts! Let’s dive into the big one first, or, rather, the thunderous one!

STAMPEDE

Stampede is now FINALLY out and live in both ebook form and paperback! This is the third book in the Harmonizer series and takes us to a location we haven’t seen before, the Desert of Mahabata!

Stampede follows Vianna and her friends as they venture south past Ankila in search of the Guardian, Brogahn. Mahabata is a vast and foreboding landscape that cannot be traversed on foot, so the trio has no choice but to seek the assistance of a rather cantankerous merchant, Farush! With his help, they set off on a long, winding ride through the desert, but new forces are already working against them. The fall of Garondar awoke an ancient force, and the trio will have to learn to work alongside Farush or be crushed beneath the claws of the Stampede!

Stampede has been planned for a very, very long time, so to have it finally come to fruition is quite exciting! This book offers a new glimpse at Vianna’s world and begins building on some of the mysteries created from Estria’s existence. Stampede was designed from the ground up to be a bit of a rest after the chaos of the Lonely Fortress. Instead of there being an overarching nemesis in the form of the Steel Legion, the journey itself is the adversary, and a large emphasis is placed on world building! If you want to experience a thrilling, dangerous ride through a desert, then Stampede is your ticket!

However, Stampede is not the end of this story! Not by a LONG shot!

Mire of Madness

With Stampede out, it is time to introduce the next book in the Harmonizer series! Following their adventure in the desert, the trio will be pointed at a new region called Shademire. Shademire is a vast swamp tucked between tall mountains and a sprawling jungle. The ground itself is treacherous here, and the very shadows themselves are secretive. While venturing through this marsh would be hazardous normally, there are hostile forces lurking within the darkness. It will take all the courage and fight the trio can muster to safely see their quest done as an old foe returns, and a new one rises!

Mire of Madness will largely be about twisting perceptions. As the heroes venture into the mire, they’ll encounter a force capable of twisting the fabric of reality around them. Well, that’s how they perceive it, at least. Illusions and mind control will make their adventure far more dangerous than it has any right to be, and, for once, Vianna’s strength will NOT be enough to see this through. Only by beating the illusions and the intellect of the illusion’s master will the trio be able to survive, but, thankfully, they have a Feera!

On the other side of things, the Steel Legion itself makes its return. Following the loss of their fortress and some info gathered during Stampede, the leadership of the Legion has sent its most powerful asset into the swamp to hunt the trio down. This new foe wields a weapon far stronger than anything the Steel Legion has developed, and his hatred for the trio is unmatched.

While there is more I can share, you’ll just have to wait until the Mire of Madness launches in a few months! Oh, and you may be wondering about what comes after. I’ll leave it’s title as a hint. The title of book 5 will be… Thundering Skies! Do with that what you will!

The Sapphire Verdict

Editing on the Sapphire Verdict has officially concluded for the FINAL time! I’ve officially started work on editing the second book, which shouldn’t take long, and I’ve started working on queries. Hopefully here soon we’ll FINALLY see this book out the door, and then Sapphiria’s story can finally begin!

While I don’t want to give too many details, I would at least like to state here that Sapphiria and Vianna do share the same universe. It has been asked if Vianna is in the past or the future compared to Sapphiria, and I’m happy to reveal that she is… concurrent! Sapphiria and Vianna’s stories are happening at roughly the same time on two different planets. As time goes on, who knows! Maybe these two will cross paths to fight a truly dominant evil…

I want to mention briefly that a new video will be coming out shortly! There’s been a LOT going on, but I’m starting to get control of things. This will feature two major art pieces and will center around Stampede! If you want some chill music to listen to while venturing through a desert, then this new playlist may be for you!

Conclusion

I know it was a while since the last update, but this is all I have for now! I will be endeavoring, as always, to stay up to date on these, but it’s definitely gotten more difficult with all the extra work I’ve taken on. Until we cross paths again, take it easy and… Cheers!
