A Small, Uneventful Blog Post

It’s a new week, and that means a new blog! Unfortunately, I cannot promise anything exciting in this one, but let’s at least do a quick update anyway! Off we go!

The Sapphire Verdict Updates

I have been hunkering down on this pretty hard over the past week as I’m getting closer and closer to the final milestone of 135k, and am happy to report that I have breach into the 140s at long last! It has taken forever to get to this point, and while it seems like I’m close, I’m very aware that it’s going to get way harder to remove words at this point. However, I am still optimistic that I will have this done before the end of August, and then I get to go back through this to see what I took out that needs to go back in. We are soooooooooooooo close to Sapphiria finally seeing the light of day! Just a little bit left and then I can stamp this for good one way or another!

Art Stuff

My art seems like it’s on hold, right? Wrong! I’ve been working extra diligently on a very massive piece that I want to use as a starting soon screen for my Twitch streams. It is taking forever to complete because it’s one of the most complex pieces I’ve ever done, but I am learning some new things from this! There are a few new tricks for a little more realism that I’ve never done before, and when I’m finished with it, I think I’m going to learn a few more things in the process. I’ll just say that windows aren’t my friend…. Anywho, preview below for your enjoyment!

Small update for this. I am still sitting on it and not planning to bring it back anytime soon. There are other projects I want to pivot around to that will eat up the time I had slotted for this, so if someone REALLY wants Youtube back, you better speak up!

Conclusion

That’s all I have for this week. Told you it wasn’t very exciting. Next week I’m aiming to make time to do a character break down of either Atom or Gale, so expect that so hopefully next week’s blog proves to be a little more interesting!
